RotoGrip ProShot doubles rules and regulations


  1. USBC rules and regulations shall govern all rules not covered in this constitution

  2. league will be a doubles league

  3. legal lineup will be 1 person per team with a maximum of 4 persons per team roster

  4. 2 bowlers will bowl per night. Substitutions will only be allowed between games.

  5. league shall use Petersen point system (1 per ind. Game, 2per ind. Series, 2 per team game, 4per team series), 20 points total

  6. league shall bowl 3 games per night

  7. start time will be 9:30 p.m. or as soon as house can complete finish of lanes

  8. league will bowl on Monday nights starting 11/13/06 and lasting for 24 weeks.

8a. League will not bowl on 12/25/06 (Christmas) or 1/1/07 (New Year's)

  1. RotoGrip will award a ball to any and all players bowling certified honor score of 300 game.

  2. league shall NOT be certified by USBC.

  3. each team will set lineup for night with team higher in league standings setting lineup first. Highest team average will set first in case of tie.

  4. lead off bowler will be handicap player based on 90% of 220 (max 60 pins per game)

  5. league lane conditions will be ProShot type patterns. Pattern will rotate after 6 weeks.

  6. A league roll-off will take place on the 25th week. Lane pattern used will be from drawing held at conclusion of 24th week.

  7. Roll off will include 5 teams. The team with the highest point total for each pattern will be in roll off. If a winning team already has a roll off spot, the next highest team not already qualified in that six week session will be in roll off. The highest placing team not already in roll off will qualify for roll off as the wild card team.

  8. League lineage will be $20 per bowler per night. The last two weeks will be paid by each bowler no later than the 8th week of bowling.

  9. Bowlers more than 2 weeks in arrear will not be allowed to bowl until lineage is made up.

  10. league averages will be established after 3 league games.

  11. Substitute bowlers will not be allowed to bowl during roll offs.

  12. only pre established substitute bowlers are eligible to substitute during position rounds

  13. if a full team is not present to bowl, missing bowlers will be calculated at average minus ten pins.

  14. make up or prebowls must be completed within 1 calendar week of absentee. It is the teams' responsibility to arrange make up times with the house in order to make up on the appropriate lane pattern.

  15. league lineage will be $20 per night. $8 for lineage, $.50 secretary fees, $50 secretary/house miscellaneous fees. $80 roll off lineage will be charged at end of league from total league fund.
